The writing is great (as always with Blake crouch) and the narration performance is fantastic. But all this book is about is rape. It’s horrible and disturbing. Personally I can’t stand rape in books or movies and I can’t comprehend how this book got so many positive reviews. That’s just my opinion, I love Blake..

This is still top Sci-Fi and I’m developing more than a little respect for the author. I struggle to find good listens and once you’ve listened to all the greats you have to wade through a lot of dross to find something you can get into. I’m glad I kept looking and have already purchased..

The first book came free with my membership so I had nothing invested. I don’t often then buy the next in the series but I have and will comment accordingly. The story is very plausible and doesn’t invoke magicians or involve war. I related to the characters and none of the sub plots were overdeveloped…
