Final quarter of the book is a cringe-fest of “romance”, poor writing, and likely some strange projection of the author’s fetishes. Why is this so common for sci-fi writers? it’s like they can’t help themselves.

This is the worst book I have listened to by this author. I thought she would show some class, but apparently she thinks it’s just awesome to have a cheater get a happily ever after with his stripper.
