Another Nathan Lowell winner concluding the first arc of his solar clipper tales. Unlike the first five books, this leaves us with a tragedy and an uncertain future. Looking forward to the next hopefully more upbeat book.

I’m trying to focus on the story but every time I get drag out of it by people mentioning gay people or by a female being nasty around everyone and getting props for it, it’s shit I will never buy a book from this author

Dude lost some family, suddenly gets them back. This book hit me hard in the feels and drug me along for the whole journey. I was emotionally invested and I loved every moment. Can’t wait to be back with Delgado and crew in The Order!

I thoroughly enjoyed the studies and the comparisons. Even contrasting animals to people and people to animals really helped me to understand the topic better. it was like, I hung on every word. It had just the right amount of science fiction, adventure and anticipation of what this young underdog would do next. I can’t wait to start the next book in the series.

The story itself is a good one, but Cristina’s internal dialogue and constant use of “however” and “nevertheless” was a distraction. I enjoyed the story more when it switched to Alex’s POV.

I really like Caroline and her humor. How she stood up to Jax. I did think Jax would be a little more tougher and dark but he had a big heart underneath

I like this set of books it did a great job of getting you feeling for the main caricature
