Just echoing the reviews of other readers. The narration made me abandon the book after 2 hrs. But the storyline and actual quality of the content couldn’t make me keep going – superficial, sometimes uninformed, and just in general trying too hard.

I’ve not binged a book like this in a long time! Perfect. Not drug out… succinct… And fascinating.
I didn’t expect to enjoy this as much as I did (I am typically a historical romance gal). Great characters, just an all around wonderful read. I cannot wait for the next one!
A lot of it’s forecasted and predicted scenarios felt really accurate. But they were undermined by other sections that felt too opinionated to be considered feasible. love the story and plot but the ending was about half a book to short. the majority of the book was about 1 book too long. if I had to guess the author started this book and figured it would be a 2 part book finale but ran out of time and wrapped it all..
the concepts discussed in this book to deal with the existential threat of climate change are great. some of the ideas I had never really heard of, and they make a lot of sense. that being said, the story itself I found myself struggling to want to listen to. it had no hooks or likable..
I really enjoyed this book. The stories were engaging and the narrator does a good job. I also like several of the authors he claims inspiration from during the introduction. Definitely give it a go in my opinion!

The book is more than just about the ditching with quite a few individuals in this story that sometimes I lost track of. I think the book does a good job paying tribute to those involved with Tiger 923.
I wish this excellent novel had ended with more global relevance and less romantic nonsense.
