Dead Air was the fifth book in the Silence Jones series I’ve had the pleasure of enjoying, and honestly, it might be my new favorite. The pacing and overall “feeling” of this one were better than the others I’ve read. I felt like Silence had more at stake here and had a few human slip-ups..

If you’ve never read Shirley Jackson you’re in for a treat. Known for her horror stories but in addition she is also a great comedic writer. I thoroughly enjoyed this book.
It’s the kind of book that should be read by all. If we don’t want to avoid making ourselves extinct.

Excellent narration of a story we must not forget in the name of Betty. Her story is sad, and reminds you to be grateful for the good friends you have in your life. Treat each other well.
Quite simply, the book was very boring and the plot, while technically plausible, was quite far fetched. Getting through all 20 hours was a chore.

Interesting, but written like a documentary. And narrated like a documentary. I think it is more truth and not a lot of description, dialogue or interest stories inside of it. The dog was the best character.
