Reader was very monotone. Story was mostly backstory of everyone involved. I kept listening thinking eventually it would get interesting, disappointed overall

The person telling the story made you feel like you were really reading the book

As heart wrenching a story as this is, I feel it was done with beauty and sensitivity, a true tribute to the victims of this unimaginable crime and their family and friends. While it made it even harder to fathom the loss, I enjoyed hearing details of these gifted and talented young peoples lives.

With as much positive posts I’ve seen about Willow Winters this last year or so, I thought this would be WAY better. It was ‘meh’ at most. The performance was way too overdone, especially from the female narrators.

Age level was all over the place. Some stories were dark and adult, and others smacked of teen-level campfire stories.

This book is a cross between To Kill A Mockingbird and Where the Crawdads sing. it held my interest the whole way thru!

Oi vei, I could really use a story line with something so incredibly pedantic. The forces of evil abated with a few withering looks
