Not remotely credible. It annoyed me to finish it because I knew the writing was not going to improve. A very poor attempt at a new Grey Man type.

Excellent narration of a fascinating story that will send you searching for more of the spiraling miscarriage of justice and related crimes. A must read for a true crime aficionados.

When I read a book it is to escape the real world craziness. This book did just that so thank you! The complex layers of characters kept me always guessing, never knowing what’s next. Can’t wait to read another!

Continually able to rise from harrowing situations. Some twists and turn that were great fun. Very light reading but kept me coming back.

Different than many others. Unique, fascinating, exciting, and detailed. Really enjoyed it. Hoping for another just like it.

While the topic is important and several ideas are interesting the story is terrible. The writing is artistic I guess. The first chapter is the best. I understand he’s injured but it shouldn’t slow his thinking like it did throughout this book. Also,by now we know he swallows every few words it bugs me to hear “Silence swallowed” after three words every single time. This one I could have missed and been fine.

I enjoyed the book enough to read it. Much of it was too far out to be believable. Not sure I’ll get more of them yet.

The narrator ruins the story. I can’t imagine such a blasé assassin. I don’t like the character. Don’t like the story. Don’t waste your time.
