Good enough to keep reading. But then those books aren’t great either. First the whole story lacks intelligent detail. Based around a “Genius” who took credit for building an amazing ship, yet we did not get any details about the ship. We didn’t get cru size. The rest of the books continue in this lack..
It’s okay. Not good enough to be hard to put down but not bad enough to make it work to get through. The main character seems to go stupid for plot reasons. He almost never uses his Earth skills at all.

This was a nice low angst short story. Nice couple with strong chemistry. I’m a sucker for single dads so this was right up my alley, I also liked that Darius was bisexual with no bi erasure going on. I didn’t listen to the other books in the series but am interested in them now.n
