The story surprised me and held my attention far better than I expected. The narrator did a great job with differentiating the characters and keeping good pace while maintaining clarity. The story itself was transparent at points, but had a fairly strong narrative throughout.

if you like the first three Charlie books you will love this one as well.

Well worth the credit. A great series with this being number 3. Looking for number 4 now. Charlie has had a very interesting life. Somewhat like Arthur Dent and his travels but with a very updated spin. An excellent book in the series.

NOTE: I stopped listing to this series after book 6. I thought this series has some potential. I found this first book fun and entertaining! The voice actor though…. He is clear and easy to understand. That is about all the praise I can offer. He’s just got a voice for a college lecture that..

I loved this book! it was a great magical journey! Go ahead and read this one!

the book is great. the narrator however isn’t someone who I’d normally listen too, because I think his voice is too plain. Fortunately for the author I do think the story is good enough to listen to the rest of the series.
