This was a very interesting book and I enjoyed the environmental awareness and ideas for improving the world but there was way too much political leaning in one direction. The store was very much pro-socialism
I would recommend this novel to anyone concerned about the future of humanity and the impact we are having on the planet. This book puts a human face on both the impact of climate change and the many ways people are trying to meet this existential challenge.

The structure is somewhat unconventional with a lot of random feeling, disconnected, stories told as testimonies. The core story is optimistic. So many narrators. It’s great!

I really dislike audio books but this was fantastically produced and Stan’s writing is brilliant making this an amazing listen. Overly optimistic? probably a touch… well researched? absolutely… we are the asteroid? yup!
One of the voices is so bad he brings comic levity to calamity. Others have praised the performance. I love The Room, perhaps their praise is similar.

Sorry, don’t rate very many books, but this was one of the worst I ever tried. I’m not into politics or foreign government affairs. Maybe if there was an actual followable story I could have finished. Then throw in all the non performing narrators and I was finished. Will be returning this.
