Started strong then got into long lectures. Mary was not compelling. Having said all that, KSR taught me a few things and he imagines that we actually solve the climate crisis.

It took me a few chapters to really get into this book, but once I did wow I was completely hooked.
This was a good speculative work about how climate change might unfold in the next few decades and how the world might respond. Considered purely as a work of fiction it may be a bit lacking but since climate change is the challenge of our time I think everyone would benefit from reading and considering..

some parts of the story seemed to drag on a bit, but it’s so dense with policy, concepts and vision that I consider it well worth the journey. had to bookmark multiple parts for further study. very enriching book and important to the Climate conversation overall.
