What a treat to enjoy these stories. The settings are a window to the middle class of the 1940’s and ’50’s as only Shirley Jackson would see them. A marvelous getaway for the mind.

This was a fantastic book, I loved every moment of it. The narration was excellent, the story was in my opinion unique and I was drawn in immediately. Can’t wait to read the sequel.

I really enjoyed the book. It reminded me of ready player 1. Narrator was good a few issue with volume but nothing bad. Characters were all likable.

Decent story flow and the ending was interesting. I’m not a connoisseur of books nor lit major. I just enjoy the occasional audio book. I had no complaints with this book overall. The narrator did an awesome job as well. I look forward to the next book.
