This book started out good.I was interested until about 2/3 way through,then I got bored,it picked up again at the end. Listening to the stories printed in magazines during Shirley Jackson’s lifetime or never be published was a treat . Narration was excellent especially with Kirsten Potter and others who fit the characters and gave them life. I only wish there were more!

A bunch of great short stories about different things by different people that stayed interesting throughout. A few of the stories stuck with me a bit and there was one I didn’t want to hear because I knew what was happening but it was well done.
