It’s a little slow and hes sort of feel sorry for the guy but I’m gonna get the 2nd book 4 stars

The story is barely engaging. Which is too bad because the subject matter is crucially important to our time. The readers, I wouldn’t call them narrators at all, sound. as though they are particularly uninterested In what they are saying.This is a boring book read by bored readers. Not worth the effort or the time.
The flow of having intervening chapters of “dialog” between other parties like some media interview or something does not work. There are huge technical errors where clearly the author does not understand the technology (like blockchain and issues of social media how airships work etc) and worse yet wildly overestimates our ability to take carbon..
The opening scene was bewildering. Initially I found it graphic and uncomfortable, but that’s the reality of uncontrollable climate change. The middle part of the book with the primary male character meanders for a while, no real conclusion for him. Maybe that’s realistic too, that nobody gets anything fantastical in life, it just continues on..
