I loathe how incredible boring the first 80% of the book was, I wish he would have left it as a side story so I could have skipped it.

Not that crazy about the narrator Sounds like Ray Romano. Story was decent. Some good imagery.

I didn’t find the story scary or creepy. It is disgusting and gross which I think is more Bentley Littles style. I think there were too many characters and not enough cohesiveness to bring everything together. The narrator gave a good performance and did the best he could to give each character a distinctive voice.

A good LITRPG story with a twisted ending that I’m not sure I buy. I’m thinking it has to be a ruse. We’ll see though because I’m on to the next book in the series right now!

When the first line out of a characters mouth is a lie, then a huge chunk of time is dedicated to trying to prove they can’t lie, somebody wasn’t paying attention. Too much time trying to fit in political messaging at the beginning and not enough time working on making a good story.

Very interesting book! Science nerd here who also loves plants 🥼💅💕 loved hearing all of the random bits of info from history related to plants, really enjoyed this read. I appreciate it being translated into English AND on Audible for free!!

Wasn’t sure what to expect however over the 3 books in this arc, the story is very engaging, kept me coming back to see what happened next…. Highly recommend

While this is not my favorite of all of his work, it does not disappoint. If you want a good mystery horror, this is a great one to listen too.
