So many bad metaphors. The narrator changed voices for the same character several times. Not great. The story was just boring and, without giving away any spoilers, wasn’t really consistent in either science or theology.

Timeless Indeed

As someone who has listened to this series multiple times I felt like this book was a return to the form that made me fall in love with this series in the first book. Jason being Jason doing amazing Necromancer things and causing chaos in various ways. It also was an wonderful way to introduce..
Meh, then better.

Trust issues and momentary stupidity

A recurring theme of every story from this series is people stubbornly withholding information or going from super genius to absolute idiots. There’s no reason for it other than to drive the plot. I almost refunded this book after yet another character got their intelligence nerfed and another flat out ignores any attempt to get..
doesn’t disappoint!!

I hate time travel
Review from Timeless →
to be up front of my personal bias and the minus 1 star I have grown to despise time travel plots. if you are this far into the series you know there are two interwoven plots, one outside the game, one inside. the in game plot takes a massive hold and Jason takes a time..
The first book was very interesting, I will admit it, and the writing was ok too. However, this story seems to have nosedived. I’m not sure where all the good reviews came from but my interest level has completely crashed. There’s so many small things the writer did wrong in this follow-up story. Why did..
