Ok the time stuff was a little hard to follow at times but the writing and character development continues to get better and better. Can’t wait for the next chapter in the story. Also glad he combined the two stories into one. I think both stories benefited.

He doesn’t seem to have the vocabulary to make each encounter unique. They all sound the same. “In waves” is used heavily throughout the series, as well as the word “obsidian.”..
