I don’t know why I waited so long to get to this. There is no slow spots and the cliffhanger is dope AF. Travis has just about perfected his story telling. The one complaint I have is that David lost something in his Jason voice this book it doesn’t sound the same sounds more child-like..

There were numerous major flaws with this book… 1) The book starts with Cady not giving Jason much needed information which causes all sorts of problems that extend the first few chapters almost endlessly. The good: I really enjoyed the stories, all were well written. The bad: Narration was not great. Many sections ran together with almost no break point between stories or sections. You have to suspend belief to listen to this story. While there are some interesting characters and exciting parts, to get to them, you have to slog through some very boring backstories. The Commodore was over the top. I doubt he would have been given the command of anything, much less an amphibious task force…
