Fr. David J. Collins has succeeded in doing something that is quite difficult to do: to give us a succinct, clear, and nuanced treatment of the history of the Society of Jesus in the United States. Scholarly without being pedantic, accessible without being overly simplistic, this book will be the standard introduction to the Jesuits..

Took to long to get interesting.

The first 16 hours are just bickering between Jason and Katie with bouts of anti-capitalist rhetoric being pushed. I powered through because I’ve loved the series and the it’s what introduced me to the litrpg genre. After the first 16 hours it reads more akin to the classic style. Looking forward to the next book.

Big payoff at the end but you definitely have to endure the back and forth throughout the very long story. it probably could have been tightened up a bit but there was still a lot of things that left more questions like where did this holotech come from so quickly? Anyhow, no problems burning through..
non-stop f-bombs

My least favorite of all the books.

I did not like this book, I felt like filler at its worst. The parts that were actually interesting were rushed and felt like the author could have done more with those parts instead of Katie’s constant complaining, Julia once again the “greatest, bestest, awesomest, blah, blah” I want to go into so many details..
