Amazing progression with the story one of the best books in the series and they’re all very good. This book does a very good job keeping the action going Plus furthering the story it just goes to show you what true litrpg authors are able to produce.

Initially I thought some of the character voices used were odd, especially Sumpter, but it ended up being perfect. Stifle gets kudos for his presentation. The story? So twisted and I didn’t want it to end…Lucy told me to listen to it again… ?
The saddest part is now having to wait for the next installment! 27 hours in three days couldn’t put it down luckily alot of work can be done with a head phone in 😀 I know after listening it doesn’t sound like there was a lot that went on but it was such important step..
Enjoyed the series so far, however this book in the series felt like it could of offered more. The story didn’t feel quite as enjoyable, lacking substance, and a lot of the scenes and situations felt repeated or generally of lower calibre than they have in the previous books. I also didn’t like the relationship..

Great series! Listeners of this series may get a bit frustrated through the first half of this book. The game becomes tedious, Jason acts immature, and there is no conflict resolution. But the second half is better, with much to offer. As with Way Of The Shaman and The Dark Herbalist, the real life story..
Started out interesting where the last book left off but quickly gets two dimensional. The The supporting characters have no reason to been there and it just felt like a first draft. Couldn’t get past half way.
