The writing is like bad teen fiction, it randomly switches from using contractions to not using them. The protagonist lives thev dream life of every bullied kid. He shows everyone how strong and independent he is, including his parents.

Shield of winter won’t leave you cold as there is lots of action and dragons to heat things up!! I just finished this audio book and enjoyed it immensely. If you haven’t found this author you are in for a treat as well as some trickery from magic. Give this one a try!

Really good book and addition to the series. This book has the style I really enjoy where the action is just the right amount, the downtimes are not over done. It doesn’t go on and on and on. There’s a clear objective.

this book got me hooked. so can’t wait until buying the second, hopefully, it’s as good as this one.

Just love how the story came along with the characters and how the store made them do things. Night managers rock.
