so I’ve listened to these books twice now and we’ll probably re listen to them a third time again. very different take on a hero in the story but a very good literary RPG and the narrators do a really good job as well

this is an amazing and very well written lit RPG. a lot of RPGs have way too much steamy Romance. I’ve become a fan of the author’s work and the narrators do a really good job as well

I really enjoyed how each God and creature got a story and an explanation. The stories were magnificent, all of them are must listens. It takes some time to get used to the narrator but his odd cadence and different tones make the work much better!!

In college courses Parenti’s obvious emphasis on class relations begged to be identified as the driving force of Antiquity & Roman History. Why all my Professors refused to address class relations directly was a clear indication of their biases. Parenti has written a serious yet entertaining book and the narration is outstanding and engaging.

Love this series. Can’t wait to read more. Almost hope it never ends. This author has very good reads.
