In fact, it was just a great book. The storyline in AO was just as deep as the story outside which made the story riveting. Great job Travis Bagwell.

Narrative- I have read the other available Awaken Online books released to this point and found them enjoyable. Though of the side/non-Jason stories, I would have to say that this is the strongest. Apathy, Unity, and Retribution are good self contained stories but lean upon the reader knowing emotional changes and character development that happens..

the story is pretty cool, the standard litrpg sucked into a game story, but its narrated by a weird old man that cant pronounce words correctly.

loved the story. didn’t like the narrator. They should maybe replace the narrator for future stories.

This series is slowly turning into a romcom drama… like it better when it was about Jason not riley and how she contradicts her self and cries about Jason poking in her past yet does it to Jason… this book is going down hill… make it about Jason again and his independence not a teenager..

Travis Bagwell has made another amazing book in the world of Awaken Online. You will find yourself on a journey of adventure that doesn’t let up till the very end and leaves you wanting more.

There are a few slow moments in the story but it’s still pretty amazing. I’m downloading book 2 now!

Another great story, great character development and kept me listening. Always looking forward to another release.

So, the story is good but at the end you get into all this moral contemplation and emo bs. I stopped reading Travis’s other series because he ruined it with the overly annoying emo boo hoo stuff. I will give the second book a chance but if it gets worse I will just have to..

This is another fantastic book from an amazing writer!! I loved the switch to a new character. I cannot wait to see what is to come in this fantasy world Travis has so expertly created.
