I love this author. I’ve read or listened to just about everything he’s written and I’m never disappointed. You can trust me when I tell you, this author is extremely talented.

After listening to this book I hope we get to learn about the other 2 avatars in the same manner. I was skeptical at first thinking it would be a basic copy paste from the first book in the series, but was pleasantly surprised to find this a great book and nothing like the first..
I was hesitant to leave the Twilight Throne and Original Sin for the boundless sea of sand but I was not disappointed. I absolutely love this world’s depth. Onward! To the next adventure!!!
Travis Bagwell has pretty consistently provided engaging stories with a great litrpg flavor. This newest entry follows a new character on their own journey and was enjoyable almost start to finish. My main criticism of this particular entry was this weird run near the middle of everything where the author took a paragraph or 2..
The narrator sounds like a doddering older gentleman. His slow cadence and sloppy annunciation presents the highschool-age protagonist as a petulant child with a hard-on for villainy. What could have been an interesting take on the anti hero in a litrpg turned into a long and unpleasant insight into how this kid channels his energy..

Great storytelling at a very good pace. This one follows a different character which is a nice change of mind set and inner monologue. The way its composed is great as a self contained story, but also leads to a much larger story which I can’t wait to see unfold.

I immediately started listening to the 2nd book after finishing the first and it is a wonderful continuation. If I had to complain about something it would be that the MC seems a little OP sometimes but it’s still a good book to listen to.
