The story line grew lame after book one. There were periods in the story where the author went way too far into detail as to what the character was thinking. It’s pretty obvious what most people would think in these situations and part of hearing or reading a story is self reflection in putting yourself..

Really loved this. the fighting and magic were great. it was shocking and endearing as well. Just overall a great story with complicated characters. Narration was perfect!

Its a great story with many great aspects as how the real tragedy of war and how much your love ones matter. About how not to cling onto the past and accept it. Great story of understanding. Only problem i have is the pacing was somewhat slow at the beginning but once it picked up..

I like the whole series, brooks character got a tad bite annoying through out, after reading all 8 books you start really getting close to the characters, especially when they would either be killed by zombies or the living good read worth every cent
Quick world building, easy to understand magic systems, a thrilling emotional experience, characters are well developed and very relatable.

I’ve been going through a lot of litrpg, and this is becoming one of my top 5 series, lots of fun and great writing, excited to see what happens next!
