Without spoilers ….. this is first series I have hated the main character constantly using others to get what he wants only to run away afterwards. the story was ok overall but I admit I wanted the main character dead by the book #2.

I should have dropped this after the first one but there were a few threads I found interesting. He runs and hides from ever opponent or he mind rapes someone into fighting for him or he straight manipulate two of his enemies into fighting each other the end. literally those scenarios just repeat over and..
But it never does. We are like 4 books in and dude still just runs around hiding or mind raping people to fight for him. It’s just lame. Not to mention the chapters upon chapters of shopping, conversations and useless information/filler. I’m skipping so much of the story just to follow the few threads I’m..
Plento of action and relationships. Preppers may not like lack of reality. Nice to have full-series option.

The story bounces from one set of characters to another without pause, causing slight confusion. Over the top descriptions of just about everything….constantly. Characters making choices that make no sense. Characters having thoughts that make no sense. Oh and Ottawa is the capital city of Canada….so the constant talk of the drilling incident in Ottawa….makes..
It is a great story, made me swell with emotion. The performance by the narrator was exceptional.

The title says it all. I’ve been listening to this for a few months now. I can typically listen to around 30 hours each week because of how much I drive. I listen to this for a day or two, then have to find something else. When that book ends, I go back to this..
