I lose pretty much all respect for a narrator that mispronounces words… couple that with a mediocre poor technical data story and you get what you get.

I couldn’t get past chapter 3. It’s like being forced to sit thru someone’s vacation photos while they narrate every boring detail. Not to mention the narrator couldn’t even muster up a decent southern drawl. Save yourself!!!
I think I said to myself 100 times, while listening, that this story sucks.The author is completely clueless about many of the things she is writing about.Character Megan is supposed to be smart and witty, but is constantly making terrible choices.The “former Seal” Wyatt is 100% unconvincing as a man, let- alone a former elite..

This book must have been written by a 13 year old girl. Things don’t make any sense in this book and it’s so long and lame. No action really and details is so intricate one minute and so vague the next.
The narrator’s tonal inflections were annoying and whiny.The story while ok, wasn’t plausible let alone some of the actions of some of the main characters were logical. For example, you’d think a still fit for duty former Navy Seal would be more of a handful for the aggressors. Sorry, I just didn’t like it.
