As beautiful as it is brutal, this story is just incredible. And the narration was phenomenal. Overall a masterpiece.

For the first 2/3 of this book, it’s great. Loads of interesting world building, some major events/plot twists. One REALLY good line. Then… nothing happens for the entire remaining 30 % of the book. Literally nothing. It kind of sets up for a new storyline, then it just ends. No resolution. No sequel. Nothing.

It’s hard to describe this epic tale of magic, love, family and war. Its world building was flawless and the characters were so well written. Any story that can give you all the feels is what reading is all about. Loved it. Hope to read more from this author!

Loved it, the only thing I don’t like is there isn’t another book to follow it up

The MC is likable and the rpg system isn’t bloated like The Land series.
