A story about family love and strength through adverse situations, leaving a legacy, and profoundly affecting others after we’re gone.
I’m enjoying how Gabriel is trying to separate himself from his father’s business while allowing his vulnerabilities show through.
Ride or die or what !? Sometimes I just want to chame Mercy like gurl are you IN OR OUT !!! Like get it together !!!! Can you not SEE the changes this man is doing for you can you not see how much he’s falling for you !!!! 🤦🏽♀️🤦🏽♀️ Face palm when she finally..
I love this series and can’t wait for the next book. but I found one issue, and maybe it is because I have never been in a mafia relationship but Mercy and Michelle are whiny. some chapters seemed to drag on with their whoa-is-me attitudes.
The story continues… speed up the performance to 1.10 so the female narrator doesn’t sound so painfully slow and breathy. I’m a bit disappointed in Mercy in this book. for someone who works in a rehab facility, her naiveté is clearly evident. She needs to open her eyes and grow up. She cannot be this..
She forgot to write the last act of the story. Brenda Scott Wlazlo needs to stop producing her recordings in her home studio and let a professional mix her sound. The recording is a hot mess. Barely intelligible in many places.
Great story and good performances. Some of the female voices sounded a bit strained. I had to speed up the playback a bit to make it tolerable to listen to. Strong female character which I love. I did feel she caved a bit too quickly though. Looking forward to the next book.
I will say of the 3 books so far, this one had the most action which can be hit/miss for me when it comes to mafia romance. I did enjoy it a lot, but the pacing is a little different than the last two. I legit gasped twice, the plot twist were really nicely handled…
I absolutely love the entire series. None of them ever miss. The first 2 will always be my absolute favorite but the entire series deserves to be re-listened to multiple times
