I originally read this on KU, but bought the audiobook and listened on a car ride to prep for finally reading Veil of Violence. It really enhanced the experience. Ufff I love the slow burn kind of romance and the potential redemption of Gabriel is so thoughtful. The voice actors are one of the best! I love the voices they take on and brings the story to life for me.

I normally don’t like when authors split one story into multiple books, but I think this series is worth it. Especially because the first book isn’t the only one that’s free on audible plus they all are so it’s not a cash grab for the author and publisher of the story. Also does not feel..

Very good and interested.it is very intense and hot this book is all about sex. I love this audiobook

An exciting ending to Mercy and Gabriel’s story. A definite on the edge of your seat journey to go on. I enjoyed every moment of this series. Ada Sinclair and Alex Kydd did a fantastic job brining these complex characters and thrilling story to life.
