The author should research gender roles and social behaviors of the characters. It’s like the first and second halves of the story were written by two different people. The story started good but ended sappy like an old Batman episode with a whiny main female character.
I love how she overcame all the abuse she endured. Turned that pain into wisdom. Then walked right back into it like a boss! 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽🫱🏽🫲🏿

The charter builds we’re good. The story was good also. But the cliffhanger ending. I can’t wait for the next one. Hoping it a lot longer this one was a little to short.
I DNF this because of the whimpering female voice actor and over dramatic male voice actor…this was combined w a boring story.

Great story. Perfect voice actors. Patrick Zeller is so talented you would think that this was multiple narrators! Ada Sinclair portrays Chelsea’s strange and vulnerability with grace! Ames Mills writes the best spice balanced with action and suspense. Who doesn’t love when the boyfriends are boyfriends!!

Packed with action and drama. The romance between the MCs shows no development throughout the story. The angst keeps them apart until the last chapter, so the plot focuses entirely on rescuing Adriana. Their love is rushed 30 minutes before the audiobook ends. Spicy is zero. Audio Performance is excellent.
