This is a serious case of NEEDING AND EDITOR! It’s a great and interesting premise- but there is so much detail that has nothing to do with the story- it could be 3 hours shorter. Shows that the author really needs an editorAlso- the main character’s self loathing is just hard to listen to. Bummer

I loved book 1 but book 2 is 🥳. I was not expecting the end. Right when I was saying wow, what a beautiful story, that happened. My favorite series of 2024 hands down.

like so many others, I came to this series after the Wolf Cove series, so my expectations were pretty high. honestly, this whole series left me wanting. the spice was very minimal, especially compared to wolf cove, and the storyline felt like it dragged on. could have wrapped in a lot less time.

This is an interesting & hot series starter. It’s tough to like Gabriel for how manipulative and cold he is until he falls to his knees.

This was one of the best DR books I’ve read in a while. I would say it’s my top 5. The characters were awesome. I loved seeing the love between all of them. Gauge is my favorite and the FMC is a kickass chick

How do you rate a novel with no ending? This story was absolutely pointless. What could have been imaginative and fun turned out to be a waste of time.
