Unfortunately the author did not understand the character of Holmes, and made the great detective cruel and violent.

I found the story rather complex, with quite a few characters and locations to keep track of. Still, I found it interesting to compare how this story was written to how the original Doyle tales about Holmes were constructed. This story has a much more modern style, with much more jumping around among parallel story..

This was a really good one in a really good series. Steve’s performance of Maria was particularly… fetching.

I had a problem with the use of letters. H instead of Holmes W instead of Watson ect. I get it that’s how it was written. Just say the names.
