It was a fast-paced, multi-charactered story. Expertly read, nice tension between many characters and situations. Gripping and full of adventure.Despite its time period, much content was relative to today.

Best book so far in the Minnesota series. Make sure to listen to the previous books in the series, as there are many characters that tie in to the storyline for this one.
To put it bluntly it was ok to say the least not the best Sherlock Holmes spin off to say the least. Decent story but a bit muddled down in some areas. Also some of the characters voices made me laugh out loud due to the accents they give him, not the best.
I’ve enjoyed each of the stories in this series, but by far this was the most interesting and my favorite!
this series is pretty cool so far, listened to the first 3 books so far. the recurring Rafferty character is a nice addition.

This iteration of sherlock holmes is a dick and lacks all the charm of the original while Watson is a sycophant and more a victim of holmes than a friend
Railroads on fire during the late 19th century. It doesn’t sound like it’ll be exciting.
