Great story, I really enjoyed it. I hope Larry Millett writes another Sherlock Holmes story soon.

This is not a Sherlock Holmes story, not really. Why create a Sherlock competition or look alike?

I love the tales of Sherlock Holmes and this is not a disappointment. I would recommend to anyone especially those who like the Sherlock Holmes series. the narrator was also fabulous with a different accents portraying the different people made it easy to follow.

This was an unexpected treat. This writer has a firm grasp on what mystery writing is all about. I enjoyed the writer’s portrayal of the main characters this is the essence of what these two characters are about. Highly recommend

Organized crime circa 1899. Irish mobsters as terrible then as they are today. Millett and Hendrickson equally bad.

I loved my first encounter with the trio Holmes, Watson and Rafferty. This detective story flows nicely and it is dotted with mr Rafferty’s savory remarks. Hendrickson’s imitations of Swedish American accents is amusing. The suspense keeps you engaged to the end, but my reason for 4 starts for the story is that the ending..

I wasn’t sure if I’d like the narrator but it is after all Sherlock. Good read

though not written by Doyle still a edge of your seat mystery that you’ll not put down till the end

would have been better suited watching a YouTube. this nearly could have been an email.

I have read other modern additions to the Holmes saga that have been amazing, this is not one of them. While the story is good the lack of study in the linguistic patterns of Holmes and Watson is apparent. While the story takes place in America and the colloquial terms will, of course, be different..
