I struggled to keep reading. Too much of the same scene until a little past the middle. When I got past that I enjoyed it. Good narritar. I liked that the dog was mentioned a lot throughout the book. I guess that’s my thing.

I loved this first book, and can’t wait to read/listen to another! perfect companion for knitting or driving. The narration by Hickman is perfect for this series (“Crap on toast ” being my favorite quote!)and I look forward to more of her narrations!
