I loved this first book, and can’t wait to read/listen to another! perfect companion for knitting or driving. The narration by Hickman is perfect for this series (“Crap on toast ” being my favorite quote!)and I look forward to more of her narrations!

50% off Murder is a formulaic cozy mystery. The characters were flat and their actions were forced and unrealistic. I won’t get the next one.

Starting Over in Danger Cove

Review from Sinister Snickerdoodles →

Maura was on a road trip after her husband’s death and giving up her career. Now she’s considering buying a bakery and starting over in Danger Cove. When she and a realtor find a dead body in a rental that has been vandalized life starts getting hectic. Fun mystery and some romance. Recommend series.
