Loved this “dog tail”, book 27 of the series. Eighteen stories with Jessica Almasy and nine stories (and counting-I hope) with Angie Hickman as the new narrator. I enjoyed every story immensely and both narrators. I can’t wait for Book 28.

I really enjoyed the performance. And the storyline till I got to the end I thought the end was not what I needed. I laughed through most of the book until the last four or five chapters and it became too dark for me

Finished first book with new narrator Angie Hickman and I thought she was okay. Not Jessica for sure but no where as bad as other reviews. Glad of that now I can enjoy the rest of the series.

I know it must be difficult for the audible reader to get the voices right. But Bertie sounded like an old woman and Peg- who is so irritating- alway- sounds like a snob with a British accent.Less of Peg and her attitude would be nice:)

What should be powerful, meaningful and moving stories are instead lists of faceless patients. A good writer evokes feelings in her readers; a bad one names her own feelings. What should be the good parts of the book are bland, pointless, and empty; the tedious parts — like the naming of the horses — are..

K Street Killing is an entertaining mystery with engaging characters and an interesting plot. I look forward to the next book.

I couldn’t get through this. The narrator is awful. After such vibrant, dynamic voices from the first 18 books, this narrator is SO disappointing. I wanted to listen because I love the series. But this narrator grates on my nerves. Monotone, robotic, unrealistic—all apply here. I’m incredibly sad I can’t finish the series.

Couldn’t stop laughing at Aunt Sookie. My feelings were all over the place with the story line. This was recommended by my older sister and I loved all the characters as much as she did. Big thumbs up!

I adore this series. This is, however, the 1st book read by Angie Hickman. Who hired her? Did she not audition? Very wooden performance and her Aunt Peg consistently sounded like an 80s robot. Simply atrocious to listen to. She didn’t even pronounce the author’s first name correctly. Ms. Berenson’s work deserves so much better!

I really liked this book kept me listening each night. Somthing to look forward to!
