This is a pre-apocalyptic story about entitled residents of a Malibu, California gated community, waiting for the hordes of leftists with torches and pitchforks to come for them and their stuff. The characters are incredibly unlikeable. The political message is so ridiculously current that it lacks any perspective that comes from the passage of time..
At 1st thought the it was a bit bazaar. The kink was ok but plot left you asking too many questions. Did not like the spitting just gross. Performance of DR creepy sounding other characters were ok.

This was a wonderful story! I wish they had chosen better narrators. I really hate that they leave you hanging. You have to buy the next story to see what happens. Also, it really stinks how they start off the next book. FIVE YEARS?!
