Judging from the title, cover art and description, I thought this was going to be a zombie apocalypse book. But 1.2 books in, the only zombies were background props. Not to give anything away, but I already saw Mad Max and was bored with that, too. Can’t go on through all 8 books. One book and 4 chapters in is enough time wasted.
