Yeah, you know what I mean. Almost every sentence is punctuated with a screaming declaration. I can almost visualize the flashing text (MASH THAT SUBSCRIBE BUTTON!!!) and customized hats with pressed brims. I really tried, but I just couldn’t finish the book because of this.

Under that, it’s not a bad concept. A boy is reborn as a sort of monster wood-ant in pretty traditional isekai fashion. Luckily, he has a pretty exhaustive knowledge of ant biology and ecology, and he manages to explain a number of ant-facts in between screaming declarations. His choices are rational if a bit immature. And he is not burdened with any past-life issues. He learns about his new life and the overseeing System Rules, while romping around a dungeon fighting other creatures.

He doesn’t seem to have any particular special powers other than the intelligence of human and good luck, both of which he uses effectively to maximize his situation. (Basically, he’s more in a side-scroller than an RPG.) Stats are also somewhat minimal for the genre, leading to less monologuing about what to choose than what I’d consider normal in LITRPG.

In summary, if you like twitch or Youtube performance art and LITRPG novels, you’ll find this a light romp. IF, however, you can’t take the screaming, you’ll seek a refund.
