This is a great story of a boy who was born without “magical gifts” that everyone else has, it takes hime twice as much work to do anything and he must compete with younger children. Instead of becoming bitter he redoubles his effort and tries harder and works smarter. Think this would be a great book to share with a Young person who feels like they are disadvantaged since the hero of the story shows that persistent determination conquers all.
