I loved Gabe and Dylan and “Rule Breaker” but I am heads over heels in love with Asa and Jude. ? This book is just epic .. like Billy would say. ? Seriously, I’m sure enough people have sang praises about this book but I’m going to do it again because it’s that kind of book that deserves all the praises in the world. ?
Jude is really tired of people never seeing past his facade as a superstar model. He may be pretty and stunning AF but that doesn’t mean he has dumb model brain. When his flat got flooded out of a sudden, Jude found himself homeless and nowhere to go. And with a friend’s help, he found himself at the doorstep of Asa Jacobs, a prestigious film star who’s currently on a hiatus. Asa is one gorgeous man who captured Jude’s lust immediately but he also thought Jude is vain and dumb. Decided to take a revenge for Asa’s assumptions, Jude is now pretending to be as thick as a log and having onehelluva time with his mischiefs. ? But after they both realized that their first impressions of each other were wrong, they found a common ground between them and they started to really enjoy each other’s company. And for the first time in his life, Jude found himself falling in love and wanting to play house with Asa and his adorable and bright son Billy. But Jude has a past that won’t let him go and Asa is a deeply scarred man who’s afraid to love again. May be they both need to let go of their ugly pasts to move on and find solace in each other’s embrace.
As true to Lily Morton’s style, this is a very slow-burn book with a lot of UST and sensual flirtations. I just adore Jude. ? His snarky comments and the way he pretended to be dumb was so soooo hilarious. This book is sarcasm gold mine! ? Asa really got taught .. lol ? And Billy!!! OMG!!! I looooove Billy .. he’s just so adorable, bright, intelligent and cute as a button. ? Loved him. And yes, I also loved the gentle giant Asa. ? The relationship between Jude and Asa took quite a lot of time to fully develop but I was all for this lovely journey. If I think the first book “Rule Breaker” was like a sexy cocktail with lots of sex, complications and scorching hot sex, “Deal Maker” is like a delicious warm pumpkin soup that warms your heart and make you smile and be contented the whole time you are listening/reading this book. ?❤️ I just loved and adored this whole book. And I think Joel Leslie has outdone himself with impeccable and stunning performance in this audio. It was just finger-licking orgasmic good! Loved every second listening this book. And I already can’t wait for Henry’s story. ?? A slow-burn, heartwarming contemporary romance at its best! Can’t recommend enough. ?
