When I heard the repeat of one of the many flashbacks which had been repeated many times, I found myself yelling – we know already, move on! I was so hoping this would actually involve history of how women integrated Mardi Gras but no. I found the story irritating, repetitive, and meandering. The whole idea that a man married two women but was really gay was not thought out. It’s a story line not even believable. I could buy the polygamy story line but to introduce the rumor he was gay and everyone instantly believed it, not believable.
Can’t recommend this one.
