Having to purchase a book so that my place in another series is kept, was a sneaky way of getting me hooked on another series. Not only was this book the perfect companion to the Borrowed World Series, it opened up a whole new (kind of) world to me. The Mad Mick and his cohorts have found a new home in my library.
