Although my tastes range – I am a bit of a sci-fi/fantasy buff. I am also the last one to knock a good YA book.. But this is only one of two books I simply could not bring myself to finish. I listened for about two hours and it seemed to get even worse as time went on. Gave it two stars because the story could have been interesting. But between a less than stellar narration and predictably cliche writing – I couldn’t bring myself to really give two hoots what happens to the characters.
