I gave this box set until book 5. I kept expecting it to have character development or for the author to flesh out the storyline. The concept is good but the characters are one sided. And honestly it’s a vampire society would they actually call themselves Vampire Lords? About as often as we refer to ourselves as “human” secretaries or “human” kings.
Good idea, poorly thought out, poorly executed.
Narrator was monotone.
