no teacher would ever leave a child behind. no Marine would leave a child behind. no father would leave another child behind after going after his own. the prisoners were very mild mannered overall. not sure the author understands human nature. i bought the whole series for a credit and am stopping with 17 hours left. i tried but I can’t get into this any farther. this is a great book for kids though. it will totally keep their innocence.
