There is always so much going on in these stories. You get the main story, but also the story of others in the group. Christian finds his mate, Delilah and doesn’t give her a choice before bringing her back to the farm. At first, I struggled a bit with it because of the lack of choice and I could see where some people may have an issue with it, but this is a story about vampires, hello, so I let the story play out and so glad I did.
The hate turns into the brightest passion between Christian and Delilah as their bond grows stronger and she starts to figure out this new life. We get more of the story about his mother and father and the threat that his father still is to the order. Dane, Gracie and Sybil’s stories are still unwinding as well as the witch. The Hartzlers weren’t in this one quite as much, but I absolutely loved it and I hope that this series goes on for many, many books. There are soooo many stories to be told! Great read!
