I mainly got it because of the narrator who can do no wrong. My main problem is it seems like the book meanders, and the main character from the first chapter doesn’t really jive with other chapters. The humor, unfortunately childish, seems to be repeated a bit too much at some point, I understand that “gay” is funny to the author and sitting on a unicorn horn is funny to Some, but you only have to hear it so many times before it starts getting old. Also, it’s pretty clear the writer has never seen a naked girl in his life. It’s written from the point of you of a 9-12 year old boy who’s only knows what he seen online about girls. The women in the story are about a shallow as a puddle. Oh my god, he’s obsessed with woman’s breasts which I get (it’s my favorite thing in the universe), but to the point of almost pathetic embarrassingly childish.

I’m gonna stick with the book and hope that it turns around but so far the first third is not so great. It definitely makes me appreciate dungeon crawler Carl and spaceteam more, some of my favorite listen to so far.

OK. I gave up about 54% of the way through. Good luck to anyone else who sticks with it.
